On 21st July 2017 Wizzair will open its 27th European base, in Bulgaria's sea capital Varna.The airline is investing $98 million in the project with 36 new jobs directly with Wizzair, and a further 250 jobs created with suppliers. A brand new Airbus 320 will be stationed at the airport.

More importantly, a raft of new routes have been announced: to Dortmund, Eindhoven, Larnaca, Milan, Bergamo and Munich Memmingen.Dortmund will be three times a week, all the others twice a week.The existing London route will be increased to ten times a week, and a new internal flight to Sofia introduced flying once a day.Obviously, this increases access to Varna and choice for flyers.It also makes travel from the States much easier.Check out http://www.paylessfights.com for connections via the new routes.
