Milan Malpensa Airport (formerly Milan Busto Airport), is the largest airport in Italy, serving the 15 million people of the Greater Lombardy region. It is the second busiest airport, after Rome Leonardo Da Vinci- Fiumicino. The airport is situated 49km northwest of Milan. Malpensa is one of three airports serving Milan.

Travel connections: By road, there is the Milan-Varese motorway, and by rail, there is a high-speed rail service to Milan (The Malpensa Express) with a journey time of 40-50 minutes. Trains depart from Terminal One. There are regular bus services to Milan, taking about an hour to the Centrale Bus Station.
THE TERMINALS
Milan-Malpensa has two passenger terminals, which are connected by a free inter-terminal shuttle bus. There is a separate cargo terminal.
Terminal 1: is for International Flights.All airlines are located here except Easyjet.
There are three concourses 1A,1B, and 1C.
1A is for Italian domestic and EC Schengen zone flights.IB and 1C are for international and non-Schengen traffic.

Ground Floor is for access to transport services, including trains, buses, and taxies.There are also standard items such as ATM's and a few stores, plus bars, eating places, the VIP lounges, and a chapel. Here you will find Boarding Gates: A24-A26, A32-A39, A50-A53, A55-A57, A59-A61, B26-B33.
The first Floor has a full range of shops and stores including duty-free. The transit desk is on this floor as are more VIP lounges. Here you will find Boarding Gates: A1-A10, B1-B10, B50-B59. United Colors of Benetton are, shortly, to open in the Piazza del Pop shopping area.Armani Jeans, Bulgari, and Burberry are among other outlets at the airport. The food and drink places include Juice Bar, Moka, Puro Gusto and Sky Lounge. There are 7,250 m2 of shopping space in Terminal 1, so you will be kept busy !.
Second Floor. Here you will find the check-in zone plus one store and a restaurant. Information points, bureaux de change and ATM's all feature here.
Third Floor. For the kids, there is a play area, and the usual eating and drinking spots and, on the top of the building, there are Departures - Gates: B18-B23
For this terminal, you can use parking zones P1-P4.
Terminal Two, spread over two floors. This is the Terminal for Easyjet.Parking here is in zone P5.
Ground Floor are many Stores: including magazines, clothing, souvenirs and electronics.This floor is the point for passenger arrival by various modes of transport. There are banks, medical services, a nursery, restrooms and VIP lounges. Check-in desks and the Boarding Gates: D1-D4, D5, D18, D19, D20, D21, E23-E25, E26-E29, D-E22.
First Floor: You can find Shops, Snack bars, and a nursery room.

As befits such a major international airport, Malpensa is extremely well resourced regarding facilities.Milan is a world fashion capital so that you will find plenty of designer goods in the many shops, plus a wide range of eateries: from restaurants to snack bars. There are ATM'S and Bureaux de Change throughout the airport.
Some of the facilities include children's play areas, baby changing, conference rooms and VIP lounges.
The airport is disabled friendly; with escalators and elevators plus assistance if required. Several car rental offices are situated within the airport.Information points are located in both terminals.

There is a hotel in Terminal 1 itself (The Sheraton Milan Malpensa Hotel and Conference Center). There are a range of hotels, located within a few kilometer radius of the airport.

Lost Property
The procedure is that passengers fax to (+39) 02 74 86 30 18 with a description of their lost item, the date and where it was lost with contact information (phone, e-mail). If the item is found, the airport will communicate with the passenger. For items mislaid on the plane, please contact your airline.
