And after that there is only one thing left to see – the magnificent city of Budapest that has collected at one place the glamour of the Austro-Hungary Empire, the ruins of the communist regime and its unique traditionally Hungarian spirit. The city is vast, full of sights and interesting places. Situated on both banks of the Danube, Budapest radiates charm of an old European capital. And you absolutely must taste some of the Hungarian wines, renown in all the world.

Getting to Hungary is easy. It is possible to enter Hungary by international shipping lines on Danube (Duna) or Tisza rivers. Far less romantic, but still preferred by the tourists is the flight to Budapest. Both the two other international airports in Hungary – at Debrecen and Sármellék are far less used. The Hungarian national carrier is Malév. There are also some low cost operators offering scheduled and charter flights to Hungary.
