Wildnerness Immersion in Madagascar
The best time to visit Madagascar is in the summer months as it is much cooler there, the ideal time frame is April to October. The many national parks lend Madagascar to be a beautifully stunning and seemingly untouched paradise.
Visit the Parc National de L'Isalo to see huge cliffs and sandstone rocks jutting from the ground, carved from thousands of years of rushing rivers. Parc National de Ranomafana is a tropical rainforest with the Namorona River acting as its veins and life source for the area. There are guided tours in both parks offered daily and usually last about 2-3 hours.
The most popular destination is Ifaty, a coastal town boasting beaches, whale watching, great coral reefs and many hotels to call it a night in. Nosy Kely Beach is another popular destination for tourists but isn't as scenic or attractive as other beaches may be.
There are many ecological and cultural museums available to the public and are all open year round.
