Almost 25% of Tanzania, an increasingly popular safari destination, is designated as national parks and game reserves, from the Serengeti in the north to the Ngorongoro Crater, an isolated ecosystem unto itself.In addition to wildlife areas, Tanzania's other attractions include Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa; white-sand beaches along the Indian Ocean coast; and the exotic islands of the Zanzibar archipelago.
