Dublin Airport is located 6 miles north of Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland. In 2015, 25 million passengers passed through.It is the headquarters of state carrier Aer Lingus and budget airline Ryanair.The airport operates an extensive range of short and medium haul flights plus some intercontinental flights and flights to the Middle East.
There are two terminals at Dublin Airport. Terminal 1 is for all short haul flights except Aer Lingus, and long haul for Air Canada, Rouge, WestJet , Ethiopian and Air Transat. Terminal 2 is for al others.
More than 700 buses a day serve the airport, the 747 goes to the city center and two of Dublins railway stations.Taxies are located outside Terminals 1 and 2. A designated taxi despatcher is available to help you.All taxies are metered.
Dublin has a full range of services such as wi-fi internet and business related services including internet points and lounges.For the families with young children there are baby changing facilities. There are pharmacies and a medical facility.The 51st Green is a pre-clearance lounge that makes travel to the US much easier.
Both Terminal 1 and 2 have excellent shopping facilities including news vendors, mini-markets, perfumeries and many more, in restaurants and drinks places it has Starbucks, pubs, and a wine and deli outlet.
