Travelling with Infants
Can one adult travel with two infants?
One adult passenger can travel with up to two infants. The fare charged for the first infant will be the infant fare whilst the fare charged for the second infant accompanying the same adult will be the child fare. A confirmed seat will be required for at least one of these infants.
Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant?
An infant is a child who has not yet reached its 2nd birthday when travel commences. The date of departure determines the fare. The infant is not entitled to a separate passenger seat. Infants are carried sitting on adult’s hands.
Maximum 1 infant per accompanied adult over 16 years of age paying applicable special fare for infant not occupying individual seat is allowed (10% of adult fare).
The maximum number of infants allowed per seat block on board the aircraft is decided by the number of oxygen masks (1 mask per seat block).
What infant amenities are available on the aircraft ?
Car–type infant seats can not be used on UIA flights for carriage of infants. Aircraft baby baskets are not available on UIA flights. The use of personal baby baskets is not allowed during the flight.
Baby strollers may be taken up to the aircraft entrance (on passenger’s will).
In this case baby strollers will be labeled at check-in and stowed in hold, using “Delivery at aircraft” procedure, where possible.
Strollers must be returned to the passenger when disembarking, i.e. at the aircraft stairs or at the loading bridge (Attention! This service is not available in airport Gatwick (London Great Britain!)).
Transportation of baby strollers is free of charge.
Child between the age of 2 and 12 is:
