Baggage information

Free baggage limits are determined based on two systems: piece concept system for flights to/from US and Canada and weight-determined system for other routes served by LOT Polish Airlines.
 Business Class 9 the registered baggage limit is 30 kg
 Economy Class - 20 kg

Flights to/from the USA/Canada
Business class -  2 pieces up to 32 kg, max dimensions 158 cm / 62 in (h+w+l for 1 piece)
Economy class - 1 piece up to 23 kg, max dimensions 158 cm / 62 in (h+w+l for 1 piece)

IMPORTANT! Tickets issued on or after February 15, 2010 allow one piece of luggage in economy class.

A child under 2 years of age allowed a 90% fare discount (without the right to a separate seat) is eligible for transport of 1 piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kilograms (50 pounds) and overall dimension of 158 cm (62 inches).

Flights to/from Europe and the Middle East
Business class - 30 kg limitation
Economy class -  20 kg limitation
A child under 2 years of age allowed a 90% fare discount (without the right to a second seat) is eligible for transport of baggage up to 10 kilograms (22 pounds).
Domestic flights - baggage should not exceed 20kg

Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag (two for business class passengers). All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of carry-on Luggage: 51 linear inches (11x14x26); 129 linear centimeters (28x35x66)
- Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 13 lb (6 kg) for economy class; 20 lb (9 kg) for business class

The following items are not considered carry-on luggage:
* small handbag
* coat, cloak, or blanket
* umbrella
* walking stick
* camera / binoculars
* crutches or a fully collapsible wheelchair
* baby food
* a fully collapsible baby carriage

Children information

Infants
Reduction for infants is available for children under 2 years of age who do not occupy a separate seat on board, and amounts to 90% of standard fare. Infants should remain under care of adults throughout all stages of travel.

Children
The reduction is available for children between 2 and 11 years of age and amounts to 33% or 20% of standard fare (depands on point of sales). Children should remain under care of adults throughout all stages of travel. Children between 5 and 11 years of age may travel without adult care (assistance of LOT crew is charged separately). Children travelling without assistance cannot exercise of the reduction.

Youth
Fare applies to youth confirmed to be from 12 to 24 years old with ID only.

Pets

LOT Polish Airlines allow only domestic dogs and cats to be transported as checked baggage in the passengers' cabin or in the aircraft's hold. The animal can be accepted for a carriage provided the following requirements are met:
- An Animal's Health Certificate or a pass
- An animal has to have a special tattoo or a microchip
- Carriage must be performed in a suitable container in compliance with the size and weight of the animal;
- The weight of the animal carried on board may not exceed 8 kilograms conteiner included;

Aircraft's Information available at LOT Polish Airlines booking and sales offices or at the hold agents'.
- The container must be spacious enough for the animal to stand up and turn around and lie down in a natural position.
- The intention to transport an animal on board should be reported in advance at the time of passenger booking. The service is paid and the charge is payable at LOT Polish Airlines booking and sales offices or at the agents'
- The number of animals carried simultaneously by one plane is limited. LOT Cargo also provide transportation of other animals as a cargo.

- Weight limit does not apply to a blind person's guide dog, nor its container. The dog should wear a muzzle and an appropriate harness during the whole flight.
- Passengers travelling with PETC can not be assigned seats in first rows of class of service
- Animals can be transported into Great Britain only as a cargo
