Cheap transatlantic flights are now a reality

Lower fares apply mainly to Scandinavian destinations, but not only.

Lower fares now a reality thanks to Norwegian.

For the past months, transatlantic travelers have been waiting, with baited breath, for the long awaited launch of Norwegian Airways bargain flights from the U.S. to Europe. Now they have to wait no longer, as the dream has become a reality. Norwegian is selling tickets from the U.S. to London, from as little as $322 return.

Norwegian is very much the ‘new kid on the block’ in the transatlantic travel market (the London-Las Vegas route is the latest to start in November 2016), but they are already establishing a reputation for modern planes , high standards, and low prices. Here are some examples of the fares:

London-Boston $322 rtn, London-Oakland $339 rtn,
London-Orlando $427 rtn, London-LA $438 rtn,
London- New York $463 rtn, London-Las Vegas $550 rtn,
London-Fort Lauderdale $1093 rtn
Norwegian is the first airline to introduce the budget airline model to routes across ‘the pond’. Travelers reviews of journeys so far have been positive.Cabin staff are reported to be very professional , most are American. As with the Budget model many items have add-on charges, but at these prices, it is difficult to argue.

Once in Europe, Norwegian offer a variety of budget flights between local destinations. However, Easyjet and Ryanair are among several others, in what is a highly competitive market
